A beautiful painting with subtle colors and great depth. I love the misty horizon and the river meandering through the grasslands. The little highlights of white on the river give it movement and flow. Thank you for sharing.

It is a simple but pleasant landscape that has almost a milky quality with the water which assumes the effect of mist is at work. Concerning the background I would only say that the left half is more effectively blended and fades into the sky better than the right half which shows more outline... or so it seems on my screen. I would think you would want the separation to be as blended as possible to give more of a misty effect. Just a thought. fine landscape.
