I have never heard of this before. What a terrible fate for such lovely little homes. It is standing lovely picture. Too bad the true story is so grim. Thanks for sharing.

This would be beautiful if restored to its former self. Like the moss on the roof but a shame its damaged it as well. This reminds me of Jansel and Gretel and the gingerbread house. Also like all the different types of architecture in this

Lovely photo of an old house that must have been very nice at some time. Great shot of the windows, the grass growing on the roof. What a shame to see it like this.

I beg to differ on this one, however after having being in Construction for so many years, my humble opinion, is that this magnificent construction is far from dilapidated, and can definitely be returned to its former glory; not without a significant investment however. Maybe if the owners would put it up on the docket, one of those billionaires leaving on the Island of Jersey, could become interested and make the investment. Cheers!

Sad that it went to ruin as it looks like a neat house. It once had amazing window designs in the front. Almost looks as if it were once a café or restaurant with all that glass. The roof's gone in places and the glass all broken out in front. Too bad someone didn't fix it up before it got to this stage. Interesting photo.

How sad to see, needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Looks like a really good location. Good focus and frame with a hint of sun on the ground and trees.
