Mary'
A great picture of George your Muscovy Drake as he checks you out while feeding from what ever he finds in the grass. His red wattles unique to his breed & himself. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with. Sharp focus.

Thanks Susan, I always find him in the same spot think he must have been a pet at some time now living on the river.

Excellent portrait of ol George checking out your camera. They are a very unusual looking duck with all that bumpy skin around their eye and beak. I'm sure there is a name for that other than bumpy skin. haha A good shot of George with a sharp focus and good exposure of him. Nice duck portrait.

I am honored to be named with this colorful guy. Love the profile look, green grass, focused and framed to show the colors and textures of the face. Hope the mate is OK. George

Good capture here. I love how nice an sharp the focus is and how it shows off the red, whatever it is, of his face. Great shot. Cheers.

Thanks so much James, first time I saw these guys I thought it was a growth but apparently it is natural for them to have the bumpy patterning. :) Mary

My guess is it has something to do with mating. Cheers.
