This is my fave animal--funny face, cute hands, bushy tail, tiny mouth but voracious eater!
An interesting initial impact. Harmonious monochromatic colors. Nice perspective & narrow DOF. Excellent lighting, focusing & framing. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful photo. It is very hard to capture these little critters for they usually the sprint away. Yes, I agree with you that this little critter is a baby. Looks like mom gave it a nudge out to feel and face the cold. Your humorous bubble of feeling makes this photo come alive. So many bubble thoughts could be here but i believe you created the perfect one. You sure captured a cutie here. This photo would be grand for Christmas cards or for a December or January calendar. Poor little baby - He probably was freeing. My heart always goes out to the creature and birds that have to battle winter outside. I want everybody to have heat like I do. Even my fish in the pond looks cold when the temperatures plummet. Creative presentation of this little squirrel.
