Lovely close up of this pretty young bird perched on the apples. I like the angle you used for this. The soft green background grass makes a perfect frame.
Lighting and focus very good showing great detail. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Hey Sweet Suzanne ! Nice to have you back. I had been missing you. Thanks for this sweet review. Blessed to see your name once again.

Thank you for that! Had my daughter and 4 year old grandson from Australia staying with me for 2 months so not had time to do much painting or reviewing but they went back at the weekend so hope to get back into the swing of it! Suzanne

I remember that. Families matters most and should be at the TOP priority. Glad you're back.

Hmm, yummy. The little apples(?) look very tasty. I believe he's watching you in case? Great catch, nice sharp focus. Cheers, James.

Wow! What a luscious image! The apples? look like big cherries but guessing they are must little apples coming out with reds. I guess the bird wants a peck, hence his standing on top of them, right? Did he take a bite later? Is this a blue jay? If so, looks like a fledgling. Lovely composition and execution. Crystal clear image which makes it so desirable to the viewer!

Beautiful detail and colors. The color is very rich without being overpowering. Love the glint in the bird's eye.

I have no idea what kind of bird this is but he's very pretty. With him sitting on the (apples?) it makes a great contrast. The focus, colors and depth of field are so good.
