Oh you've done it again. A perfect American Gothic flower family. Great color, detail and technique. Uniquely yours.

My sympathies to your wife as soon as I read the title the shows theme ran through my mind and it is so many years since seeing it - love the colours they are so vibrant and you certainly have recreated the green acres :) Mary

OH NO that song will be running around in my head all day now....THANKS for that, it'll drive me nuts.

Good colours and dimensional drawing and the humor, oh your humor is always there.

Bright and cheery.

Your comments are so funny. I could see why you were singing the Green Acres song while you were drawing this.

It is a great picture and love everything about it.

Congratulations! I will checkout the site, post haste. As for this gem, marvelous! American Gothic gone bad, or Oliver and Lisa. Your notes were very helpful to bring this past hilarious. I can see they are waving goodbye to Mr. Haney, hence the rifle. :) Again congrats on your kudos and this wonderful work. Thanks

There is an Amish look to these characters. I still know all the words to the song. It is an ear candy that gets in your head and never leaves. I check out that web site.

Tell
your wife to wait till you start singing Christmas songs, that way we will see more of your great works. Great scene, great colours, well done, and I see birds in the sky.
