Wow, what creativity and use of your imagination! I think that you have a winner here;) I don't even think that I have anything better than this to put into the contest! The colors are bright, vivid and natural, the exposure is sharp, clear and well lite all in a perfect frame:) Wonderful work, excellent entry and a terrific share, thank you;)-Cindy

It looks like an ad for Klean Strip. I love the soft rendering of the colorful mess. It really makes the can stand out. Exclellent composition and nice effects. Good luck in the contest.

It is difficult for me to put the impression made by this into words. The squalor of the left is well painted, which tells me your software treatment works pretty good. The clarity of the can and depth of color absorption there is right on target. The composition itself is less engaging as the cardboard-like surface above is hardly what I would call effective in communicating anything other than bland compromise with composing tools. So, it seems that a tad lower rating based on unimaginative composing is a fair way to treat this. Regardless of score, I would suggest you try some composing alternatives... such as fuzzed out desert landscaping behind, or some orangish backdrop like a display of fuzzy oranges... something like that, anyway. good luck.

sounds like you reached your limit with experimentation. No, I donīt do photo splicing, only paper splicing :) ... I wouldnīt have a clue on how to go about it, even. just figured you were the master and it would come as second nature?
-
Oliver, maybe misunderstanding each other. Really I thought the photo was so busy that to change the bg would be too much.
-
JAlso I am not a master at all, just fumbling and making it up as I go. I still don't know so many basic things, just been practicing every day for 4 years.

I love the vibrant colour from the messed up artists paints scattered around and the humour in the can of turps ready to tackle the painting aftermath.

What a great entry. Indeed, yes. I will never mess up with this kind of stuff. I probably don't know how to clean this, and I am a clean freak. Sharp details and high five on substance. Well captured.

That Turpentine helps a lot for understanding this your mess that the mess such this usually creates beautiful art. And now, even the mess it self becomes art. Opss...I really do not understand what I've written...just count this as messy review because full of mess.

that is one of the reasons i refuse to work with it..takes so long for the stuff to dry..im not sold on it. the setup is good. the capture of the light is good. the angle of the shot of the turpentine and paint tubes is great. the capture is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and good job overall.
