Very nice shadows and highlights. The subject is painterly but still tight, and the background is handled in a wonderful way. I like the way you suggest the idea of light and shadow with strokes.

All I can say is WOW, this is absolutely beautiful. Reminds me of the ballet that I would go to when younger and dream it could be me. The detail and softness and everything is just equisette. I love this James. I would say my favorite by far.
