A super shot on this common critter that my guard cat loves to chase and catch as a prize to bring into the house. Very sharp focus, good frame and exposure to show the hopper details.

Very nice shot of this grasshopper. Youhave positioned him well, back to one side with room for him to hop should he decide to go for it. I think adjusting your levels just a bit would have him a little more pop and some increase contrast might make his antennae appear to be sharper in focus

This is a very fine shot. I would make no change to it at all. The clarity is remarkable and the color saturation seemingly ideal. While the background is a weakened blue green it serves very well to highlight and give stage to the hopper. Fine work!

Yes, I agree with the other 5 1/2 rating. Very crisp in detail. Great composition and all the other tech stuff. Nicely out of focus background gives added impact to the image. Great job.

Have not been here in a while. Took time out for art fairs, getting a heart pacemaker and wife had been in the hospital/extended care for a few months. Hate it when life gets in the way of my photography.
