Baby Boy

My little boy had no idea I took this shot.

I like the charmed personality you captured in the look in his face. His eyes are beautiful, reflecting up, his jaw clenched as if enthralled with the forethought moving through his mind. The background is blurred just enought to keep our eyes fixed on your son. The white chairs curving frame is a bit distracting. The only element I found that draws from this shot is the cropped head. It's too bad you weren't able to get the shot a little higher. But, I know how it is trying to track those in perpetual motion. He's a hadsome lil devil.

*blush* Thank you! He's my little devil.

Very nice shot. He does have the little devil in his eyes in this shot. I would have liked it better if the top of his head wasn't cut off. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

He's pretty quick to get away. I wish I'd centered him more, but if wishes were fishes we'd all cast a net. Hopefully my new rolls are much better! ;)

I like the black and white aspect to this photo and the expression you've caught in his face - it begs the question as to what was causing him to grimace. It's a shame the top of his head is cut off though.

I believe he was getting ready to lay some pain on his older sister! Isn't that the favorite passtime of little brothers? I'm definitely learning to be quicker when trying to capture Gid on film.

I like the overall mischeviousness of this picture. He is in focus, you've captured a great expression, and you've used black and white, which I think always makes photos look better. I also like how the background is blurred, showing a level of depth in this image. Nice shot.

Thank you very much! I'm a sucker for black and white myself. I think it really captures the true emotions of a shot.
