This is a nice image. Classic sunset shot. I wish i could see more of the pier but the hint of it is good. the horizon is level and the color and light are well done.

God gave you a very beautiful picture. The part that bothers me a bit is that the dock is such a small part of the photo that it seems distracting. If there was some way you could have gotten more of the dock in there and still got the sunset I would have liked it better. I know the sun goes down quickly so you may not have had the time to do so.

Sunsets are shows put on by the sun and the earth, especially for photographers. I love sunsets and never tire of taking the infinite variations a sunset can give you. This is a beautiful sunset that you have captured here, with the silouhetted pier leading you in from the left towards the sun melting into the water on the right and the waves lapping up in front of you. Great picture!

Thank you for your kind comments. Photographs often capture a mood and feeling for the photographer. When I view this, each time I hear the waves, feel the cool evening breeze, and the sense a more relaxed state. That is a story that the pixels along cannot tell.

Yes, there is something about the peacefulness of the setting sun and nature that cannot be captured no matter how hard we try, on camera. It is a reminder to ourselves of that special experience and something to give to others to share at least visually in that moment in time.

It could be called Watching the Sun Die, but not sure that would effect at all the quality of the image. The bottom third looks like liquid glass spreading from right to left with the majority of the image so reflected with burnished gold. Really lovely! Excellent work!

Lovely composition you've captured here. The sun is in a just right point of interest and so to the pier. The calming colors of the sky and water make for a beautiful, peaceful photo.

While I'm not anything of a Photographer myself I always enjoy viewing examples of artistic photography ( sunset images are particularly attractive to me!) and this fine scene with it's spectacular coloration and it's readily apparent 'Warm & Comfortable' tone presents a most pleasing view indeed!
Although the inclusion of that over-sized 'FanArtReview' blurb on the uploaded image is something that I personally don't like ( for several reasons) It doesn't distract from the scene as badly as it does in most other presentations that I've noticed it in !
It's a Great Show you've presented here,my friend! Six Stars! :)

Wow, I rarely get six stars so I thank you for that.

Sometimes a good photograph is reflective of a good site.

I laugh sometimes when thinking of Ansel Adams. Where he shot his images in Yosemite, how could he take a bad image! :)

    Thanks for the super rating!!

You've captured some gorgeous colours in this lovely seascape at sunset, showing the sun just disappearing over the horizon, colouring the sky with beautiful pinks, oranges and gold. I like the angle you used with the pier taking the eye towards the setting sun.

Lighting and focus very good. Very nice composition. Suzanne
