This photo is absolutely stunning. The composition leaves me breathless with the misty background and the warm glow of lamps along the building. The way you have the motel coming into the image illustrates the intrusion of man into nature. It is as if man has taken from nature... it's design, structure, and purpose... and magnified that design, structure and purpose. Both have a beauty of their own and you have captured each in one photo. Excellent work.

I love your train of thought in your commentary, This photo is an excellent example of how man has impacted and yes, dominated nature. There is balance with the mountains on left and motel on the right. The composition is well done and the shapes and warm lights bring added interest. This should be a real contender in the contest.

It looks like a very lovely place to stay. I love the mountain in the background and the different layering of it as seen by the snow. Great depth of view. I like the frosty look at the bottom of the mountain. Almost mystical. I like the pop of color the lights on the motel give.
