Nice going with the isolation. Really nice blue, I especially enjoyed the contrast with the red. Subjectively, the background could be darkened much more but as is, has a nice natural feel. Good luck in the contest.

Wow! What a bizarre looking bird! I've never seen this species before. His red eye really stands out against his bluish body. Well focused, well framed capture, with nice BG contrast! Thanks for detailed info- he sounds like a fairly large bird! Good luck in the contest!
