Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Jogger running towards you silhouetted in the mist that makes the trees disappear into the distance leaving just a hint of a shadow behind them! The Beech Tree in the foreground hanging onto their leaves the longest & when they fall adding the crisp russet carpet on the ground that crunch when you walk on them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
Susan

Itīs not a grabber. You might think about getting over the left shoulder of the jogger and catching his head and shoulder outline before showing the foggy road ahead. That would put the viewer in the place of the lonely looking jogger, wouldnīt it? Make it more of an experiential piece instead of a huh piece. Just a thought, everything else, as you well know is nigh on to perfect.

This a spectacular capture. It's is composed very well. The fog gives this a great effect and your wee able to do it with great focus.

Very nice composition. I like the two main divisions of the image. The first close up of the forest floor, the fallen red leaves. Nice texture and pattern. The background layer cloaked in fog is great and creates a certain mood.

And then, although small, the jogger definitely attracts the eye. It gives action to a passive scene. Nice contrast.

Well done.

Technically I have no issues, i especially like the way you handled the light and the color rendition that you present. On composition: your running man catches my eye first and then I follow the path out of the picture...I leave your image way too quick. I'm interested to know how this works for you, if you'd care to share? Always a pleasure to view your work.

A visually balance composition with the man in the mist haze & the sparse red foliage bowing down as if giving homage to the cold Christmas season.
A great initial impact. Nice interesting subject.
Excellent POV & DOF...
Harmonious colors.
Impressive lighting, focusing & framing. Thanks for sharing.

Neat shot of the jogger off in the distance just coming out of the fog. You've posted several photos over time of this forest area near your home and they are all very good. The trail though the woods makes for some wonderful scenes and the fog here adds a nice touch to it. Well done!

Like it Fred, reminds me of my home state of Oregon where we have many days like this. The photo tells your story so well. Good angle, focus and frame to show the fog and fall leaves.

Nice story line. Lonely figure in a fog shrouded forest. Very well done. I like the overall composition and of course the fog. Great shot. Cheers, James.
