This reminds me of something that would be on the cover of Vogue a few generations back, very nicely done, excellent lighting and shading. Well done.

Wow, what a great pic. There is a daintiness about her that expresses the dance perfectly. The shadow adds a great dramatic quality. Nice job my friend. Cheers, James.

Very interesting.

Normally a shadow complements an object. In this case however, the shadow shares the stage with the main subject. I think that is unique.

I like the shadows down each leg, it gives it an "x-ray" look to it.

The face is somewhat whimsical and inquisitive. Nice.

Good job.

It seems different in style and even different from your other ballerinas in the story it tells. This seems the in the middle of a performance as the strong shadows which seem to come from spotlights suggest. The theme of the production seems to lay in the world of fantasy. The face impression beautiful drawn in sparse lines is concentrated, but has also the look of a fairy. The posture is as beautiful as it is anatomical correct. I like how the linear pencil strokes, which are used to create most of the shadows are combined with the softness of the hairdo.

A special pencil drawing with a total different style of dance - I love her face and look, very excursive portrait design with a splendid shadow against the wall -, this looks more kind like caricature style and is excellent in his character , unique and well created , thanks for shearing

I was looking at all the different pictures you had loaded recently and deciding which ones to review when I saw this one. What a great pencil drawing. The way you have the pose highlighted with the light and shadow is excellent. The large shadow in the back gives a wonderful minimalist background and is realistically drawn as an imperfect shape. Her expression is interesting too. I think she is being judged and is worried about her performance. Thank you for sharing.

Another great one. I have seen not one that you did not blow me away. I love the look on her face, it is almost as if she is looking for someone to give her approval. The shadowing is nice and the lighting is good, well done.
