The light of Jesus' holy countenance shines amid the surrounding darkness. thank you so very very much some say i do a lot of women portraits but never grossly sexual it is the only way i can afford to study the anatomy i love him he is my heavenly father so i tried to capture his piercing gaze his ability to see into the heart and i am over joyed that you see that thank you all the glory should go to him that created me once again thank you so very very much

I love the facial expression of Jesus here. My favorite is the cloak, which looks so real. Excellent choice of colors. Great expertise in drawing the facial features. A-plus on techniques and skills, drawing this image with silver and gold point. A pretty sacred image.

This must simply be stunning in the original. I have never tried black sandpaper as the surface and am intrigued. Masterful control over the medium and a very fine, old masters feel about this one! I would just love to see you work on this type of piece in person! jean

thank you so very very much i am finishing up a second one now hopefully it will be done tomorrow the sand paper kind of works like gold leaf allowing the color of the metal to shine it takes a lot of work but usually a great result once again thank you so very very much

Sandpaper, that is a new one on me. It is just a bit too dark to really see the drawing. Maybe either take a new photo and open out one or two stops or lighten this one. But my wife said that this maybe the way you want to portray the Savior.

I took another look. Amazing. I think my eyes are darker because of cataracts.
