I like the full view and how you've shown the patterns in the skin. Excellent contrast against the various shades of orange background. Prominence of textures. I only wish that the angle and focus, were also on the eye.
Might be a good page for an educational book about water dragon. A pleasure to view.

I think a bit sharper focus would have been in order for this amazing lizard. Also, the skin texture "competes" the the background ...a different aperture setting may have helped.

A finely detailed shot. I like the cropping and the excellent colors. I am surprised this creature is as long as you indicate. There is an unfortunate dark crack in the background that looks a little like his tongue sticking out and I might clone it out.
