initial impact is good. the softly blurred background adds dimension to the image. nice shot of the bird with his snack. image is well centered, nice close up and sharp focus. good job.

Nice catch. I like the look as if to say, "That's mine." The background and colors are great. However you have a real problem here with focus. Always in bird pictures the eye is the center, where the focus should be sharpest. That's the problem with automatic focus, it doesn't alway go where you want it to. Also I think a little more at the top would give better balance. Still a great catch.

This is really a colorful and pretty bird, and it seems to enjoy its apple. The background is nicely softened but the very bright area at the very top is a bit distracting, and you should try to darken this area.

I also think the focus should have been sharper, or perhaps I should have said, been placed differently. The tail of the bird is quite sharp while the head is more blurred and with loss of details. The light is also a bit harsh which have caused a blow out on the apple.

The framing is quite good even if I had preferred a tad more negative space at the top. It is a sweet photo, and it is nice to see a photo of a bird I have never seen before. But unfortunately the photo also needs a few adjustments.

I like the pose you caught here showing this colourful little bird perched on the branch, eating the apple. The dark foliage makes a good frame.
