Lovely close up of this beautiful female tiger. I've just been watching a TV documentary about Sumatra Tigers - they are such wonderful animals. I like the pose you caught here with the sun just catching on her head.

Nice dramatic catch here. I really like the light on his head. The colors are super. One thing: The sharpest focus is on the branch when it should be on the tiger. Otherwise good shot.

Thanks Wendy, they have beautiful enclosures for the majority of animals at Adelaide Zoo and are recognised for one of the best zoo gardens. :) Mary

Maybe she made a NY resolution to be friendlier.

She is awesome and you caught the calmer side of her but you can still see her fierceness.
