It all works. The light is natural and gorgeous in warmth highlighting and complimenting the grapes and the yellow ceramic bowl.

The shadow is present but soft and that is exactly what this image wants to pop...shadow but not so hard to make it chiaroscuro.

This would look phenomenal in a Monet style or Impasto handling in filters. You might want to play with it later.

I like how you kept this natural without overcooking with colours.

Formatted and composed with good balance this is going to be one tough entry to beat.

Excellent shot, the natural light gives a dramatic look with shadowy areas and a splash of light to brighten up and give an iridescent glow to the grapes, very pleasing, nice focus and framed well, soft, neutral background adds interest and depth, thanks for sharing.

I would say you set up the lighting perfectly on this one. The fallen grapes equalize the shadows on the left to make a balanced still here. The fruit colors enhance the whole bowl.

A beautiful still life picture of the fruit arrange in your Grandparent's decorated Porcelain bowl it has echoes of an Old Dutch Mater's painting the soft natural lighting adds a magic that in my opinion a flash would kill dead! Artistic composition, framing & beautiful soft lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

That was the whole idea behind this shot. To keep the left side in the shade while the right was lit. I do however respect your judgement even if I don't agree. Thanks a lot for the review.

A wonderfully captured still, with great shadowing and lighting that allow the viewer to nearly see the light taste of the grapes, and then the tastes get stronger and less sweet as the subject goes right to left. A great photo, subject, and composition!
