Great painting showing excellent likeness of this beautiful cat. Love the posture you painted, the eyes so vivid. Nice sky with the full moon.

An appealing portrait with vivid color and depth. The viewer is captivated by the night scene and expression of the feline

Very dramatic and expressive. The light, shadow, color, and detail are handled very well to show depth and create an effective illusion of reality while being very recognizable as a painting.

Well you certainly have me convinced that this panther is very powerful, also Scary.
Wonderful job with the complete work showing the sky, clouds and foliage as well. Good luck in the contest. Royal

Like the way the big cat looks as though he is considering pouncing and the moonlit setting. Possibly the greens are a bit bright for only moonlight but overall an artistic presentation.

I'd call this one a really cool looking image!! :)
To be honest though her front paws look rather puny which therefore leaves her head looking disproportionately large!
But HEY! As I don't go for the hyper realistic look in my own drawings I'll consider those things as being merely differences in artistic style rather than things that I'd take 'stars' away for! :)
Good Show,my friend!

Many thanks for your very nice review. I was trying to put the head further forward as if he was going to pounce so maybe did this a bit too big!

    You're very welcome,my friend!
I think that it's actually the 'undersized' look of her front paws that make her head look 'out of proportion'! :)

Ya like cats huh? If u get a chance do a FAR search for "a cats dream" and "nothing is for free"..should give ya a.chuckle..wink. this is an awsome creation. The facial expression is excellent. The body form and language is excellent. The blend of color is awsome..the shading is excellent. The depth is excellent. The detail is excellent. The creation is well balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Very creative and excellent work overall(standing and clapping)

Well, this is definitely not something I would want to run into day or night. You have managed to make it look quite fierce. I love the moonlight shining on the clouds.

It is a nice go at this subject. The colors you used are dark and ominous but really bring out the composition into light. The detailing is good and your brush strokes flow well. I love cats too. Would like to see more from you. Nice job and thanks for sharing.
