So the roots caused the building to crumble like this over time? Very interesting. This was a church?

Not a subject I would have thought of myself but a very powerful image. I agree Suzan's description is wonderfully appropriate. All technical is well done. Thanks for sharing.

You always come up with interesting shots, you must be a well travelled man supergold and most certainly a prolific poster of work!
Again , an interesting shot wit rather drastic repercussions from a tree riot .I totally concur with your quote from Susan
" consuming the temple in the manner of a python by slow strangulation and digestion"

That's a good description of what is slowing happening at this site. I can see how thos big roots can destroy a stone structure like this. Heck we see in in the foundations of homes around here when a tree gets too big in the yard. Amazing photo that really tells the story of nature taking over.

This is the problem with trees very near to buildings and once the roots pierces the foundation, it is difficult to revive the structures. Lighting, focus, colour and composition are good.

Yes, love Suzan's description, fits so well. Nature sure has control as we can only watch. Very good focus and frame with a panorama frame to show the power in progress.
