Oh to see flowers growing again. Only three more months until the first tulips and daffodils start to bloom. A gorgeous lotus flower that I'm sure grows wild in Cambodia. Beautiful pink that contrasts with the brown stems and grasses. I can see what looks like lily pads in the background and maybe a bit of water. Fine photo that gives me hope of another flowering season to come.

I did not even know the Lotus had such long stems, but it is indeed beautiful. I actually like very much the background as well showing the vegetation of the pond, and the pink Lotus is standing out really well against it.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in all the petals and the exposure is just perfect.

I also think the format you have cropped this into is working well and the flower has got a good placement at the top. It is really a lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.
