A cyber 6 rating. It is beautiful how you composed it, framing it with trees, and looking out far in the distance. It is well focused, and is just a beautiufl place to be right now.

A very nice shot with beautiful composition. I like the jagged look of the silhouetted limbs in the foreground and the great way the mist seems to eat away at the background. Excellent colors and a beautiful presentation.

Looks like lacework hanging down from the branches. Lovely silhouette Susan with good focus and dof. :) Mary

    Mary,
Thanks a million for your great review.
I hope your Forest fires are all controlled or out by now.
It's very cold at the moment with the Snow Drops about to open & the Daffodils in Bud on my frost covered lawn.

Our bushfires are out in South Australia but Western Australia have some fairly bad ones currently. We are having a fairly mild summer. I posted a photo today of the devestation in the Pine forest. :) Mary

This is a stunning shot, I am often drawn to silhouette shots and artwork, though I don't do myself, I love to look. The cool blue hue sets the mood, cold and chilly, air sharp and brisk! You caught the light perfectly and any adjustments you made were perfectly done. I do like the spindly bare branches reaching out and that you have hugged both sides of the work with the two tree trunks, seemingly embracing! Lovely shot! jean

    Jean,
Thanks a million for your thoughtful & detailed review. I do as little as possible to my pictures mainly because I don't know how to change them but also because I hate over processed pictures myself.

Then you and I are in the same 'techie' boat! And I too agree about the over processed works - whether photos or the art pieces going digital- and those 'changed' to drawing, or oil, watercolor, etc., through filters. I do not understand why it is really done and would rather paint and draw what I see in my mind! jean

Looks like a nice place to spend some time. Nice framing with the two silhouetted trees and the old wall in the foreground. Like the misty viewpoint with the conifers in the background. Nice image!

    Rob,
Thanks a million for your review. It's a great view point over looking Dublin, that differs with the changes in the seasons & weather.

The point of focus on the trees made a nice unfocused background of the mountains. I thought for a minute it was fog. Really nice. I also like the border.

Thanks a million for your review. Ther was mist & falling snow hiding the view down to the coast from the view point. On a clear day you might be able to see the mountains of Mourne on the horizon but not the day I took this picture.

This is just such a lovely sight, I love how the trees branches are so graceful against the cold blue sky. Very well framed and nice depth of field.

    Sandy,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
I must repeat this on a sunny spring day.
I hope you escaped the worst of the snow etc. This week.
It's gone down here where I live but it persists up in Kilakee.
