Your photograph is so clear, its well framed and the contrast is perfect. I love the men in the boat, it just plain relaxes me, its soothing.

Dear Supergold, may I ask you a question? How did you capture the " round sun", and not the big splash of bright light, so high above the horizon before the sunset?
Is it really foggy or cloudy there?

Although I have seen many sunsets over the ocean or lake,I never been at this place.

You do not have to answer, if you do not feel like it.
I just have to say: this is gentle and sad beauty, I am looking at your picture for over 15 minutes, and do not feel like closing the image.
I can not give " technical" evaluation, but I know, that such subtle, gentle colors and sun reflection requires a lot of talent.

welcome to this site and thanks a lot for your lovely comments and top rating;
the pic was taken about 25 min before Sunset but only 10 min before it disappeared behind the thick haze at the horizon; with a good camera and lens, you can avoid the lens flare and big splash

Nice composition. The placement of all the elements is well destined especially the sun. Love the warm color of it as if it is the symbol of warm welcoming. Dreaming to go there. Hopefully the sun is still there. well done .

?? I'm not understanding the adult warning for this image. Anyway, I find the orange tones (almost sepia in feel) very interesting and alluring. The image is well balanced with good contrast and deep DOF to achieve nice clarity throughout. Well done. Kathy

I think my favorite part of this shot is the orange sky and the orange sun. It's really surreal. The guys in the boat add color and contrast, but I like the water, reflection, sky and sun.

What an incredible scene...the color is amazing...did you modify or enhance the
hue? I have never seen a sunset of this
color and wonder if its normal occurance in Asia. The shadows and reflections are
beautiful in addition to a good composition and interesting subject.
