I think this is really beautiful Cleo, and I especially like the way the dress is blending into the background. I do however think you need some textures in the upper left corner as well, but still keep it as white as possible.

Especially the ballerinas shoe is done well, and it is also has got a really perfect placement in the lower right corner.

I really like the dram like look of this creation and I honestly believe that it is a good flow and balance in the composition

    Thank you very much, Annie.
It makes me happy that you like it. I will think about the the left corner. It s meaned as the light spelling over from the stage. Adding some texture is a fine idea, but right now I am not sure what to add while keeping the light effect. I have to think about. and try different versions.

Perhaps not textures Cleo, but some slight light shades of grey. I think it was a lovely painting, and you are more than welcome for the review.

This is a beautiful piece of digital art, Cleo. I love the pose of the ballerina and the softness of the image giving it a surreal feel. Love the colours in this too.

Wish I had a 6 for this. Don't know how you do digital art but this is a very imaginative image. Suzanne

    Thank you very much Suzanne!
This kind of digital art is done much the samr as traditional paintig. Hundreds sometimes thousand of little brushstrkes are necessary. Mixing colors seems more difficult to me than mixing traditional oil, but that might be just my impression. The greatest advantages of digital are: All your tools feed into a little vbackpack and you get never splattered with colors.

Ha ha! You're very talented to be able to do this and you have a great imagination. I'd never be able to get the hang of digital art, I'm afraid, so will have to continue to be splattered. Suzanne

I wished I could get splatered again, but for the time being I am forbitten to use colors, even chalks because I developed some bad alergies.

Lovely job. The sense of the foot and the shoe tells the story very nicely. I really like the overall composition and background shadings. Great picture. Cheers, James.

WOW. THIS is beautiful. The rendition of the ballerina tying her ribbons is exquisite. My favorite part of this is the effective rendering of the tutu. I think THIS is how digital art should be done!

Just perfect! I like your title, but to me it feels like "out of the light". Your dancer seems to be made up of light and is slowly emerging from something that looks supernatural.

You have a wonderful talent for creating an image in your head and bringing it to life.

Bravo!

Steve, you make me blush! So many golden stars! S many compliments! Are you sure you do not ware pink glasses? You really made my day. I am happy you like her.
I like your interpretation a lot. Dancer try to be a bit supernatural. In some ballets like Swan Lake they try to give the audience the feel as if they could fly. It is hard work behind this. The ballerina is out of light in reality as well . She is behind the stage she soon will approach the light spelling over from there. I tried that airiness. Its as if photographing flowers in back light.
