Thank you very much! You are right. There is Degas influence. Nobody painted dancers like him, before or after his time. I used his pantings as some of my references.

I think that here you have captured the essence of the soul of the ballerina. For me, all ballerinas have something ethereal, not earthly, when them are in the dance. Love the dress that are dilute on background, and the facial expression, exquisite skin tones and good frame. Well done

I am very happy you like her. I have tried to paint the essence of dance since I was a child. This is a theme I always will come back to. I have aspecial connection to dance, it was part of my job.
