I totally agree. His voice is fantastic. You've got a really good pose for him here too. But I do like his salt and pepper look. He's the Marlboro man, not Tom Selleck.

Wow... great portrait. I love the pose and facial expression, like the skin tone and the perfection of the lines. Great attention to details of the features facial and the color tone.
Well done

This is a very impressive drawing. I assume it is done after one of the zillions of artists photos of him, but I think you got the essence of the "cowboy' and the character of the man especially well captured in your drawing. The strong contrast of light and dark areas is captivating, especial on the textured an slightly colored paper. The drawing is stylish and leaks detail at the face, which is not a mistake but emphasizes the expressive. Well drawn eyes.

There is no doubt in anyone's mind who this is. You did a great job on his likeness and facial features. He is one cool dude. Could you draw his voice?? :)

++++++Sam Elliot is one of a kind. You've done him great justice here. The eyes, the 'stache, and his locks all so recognizable. I can hear his voice loud and clear given your excellent rendering. Kudos:)

Sam Elliott is one of those MEN that only get more attractive with age. Women just get old. I'm sure I've seen everything he's been in and you've captured his essence perfectly.

I love how you create such a soft effect in your pencil portraits - no harsh lines, almost more like a watercolour painting. You achieve an excellent likeness. You must have a good stock of photos of these famous people on which to base your works.

Great detail and shade and lighting. Very nice composition Linda. Suzanne
