What can I say but ...great job! I really like the shadowing softness of your portraits. If I could just add one thing on this one however, I feel the top of his mustache could have used a little more attention. But again that's just me. It's hard for me to criticize anything you do.

Magnificent work, aside from your extreme technical prowess, what strikes me most with this work is the white space is used wonderfully to frame and enhance the subject. There are extremely subtle shadings and a minimalist approach concentrating the darker areas to cause the viewers eye to create the spatial environment that results in this most elegant work. Beautiful. Thanks

You have done justice to this piece Linda. The upload has a significant amount of noise on it...when you shoot these to upload make sure your ISO is 100 and you then will have to use a tripod.
The drawing has your precise exactness and shows us all your skill. Personally I am troubled by the vignette that burns out his hair at the top but that is simply my opinion.
It's a gorgeous rendition, as always.

Pencil has always been my favourite medium and I just love your work, it is all so expressive. I really like the painterly quality of this piece, It has a watercolour feel to it especially around the edges where you have blended or erased so perfectly. You are an amazing artist thank you so much for sharing your work.

Could not give you a perfect six for this. Funny that you love him, for 2 days ago was the one year anniversary of my mother in laws death, and she LOVED him. Of all the actors you could love she thought he was so wonderful, handsome and just awesome. Your portrayal of him is so amazing I had to look so close at it to make sure it was not a photograph. Linda this is so good. I wish I could afford to buy one from you and give to my husband in remembrance of her but I will just have to enjoy it on her. Thank you so much for sharing.
