Great composition, sharp focus and detail - nice bird'seyeview. Only thing that would make it better is a RED berry in that perfectly detail little beak... thanks for sharing and good luck.

This is indeed a colorful bird and especially the yellow eye is captured really well. The background also works well but it seems to be a slight over exposure right behind the beak which also have affected the beak.

Your focus is a tad soft, and it is especially the beak suffering from this, but as already mentioned, also the light has something to do with this. The colors are however crisp and clear.

The tight cropping works well even if I personally would have added just a tad more space at the top. All together a lovely and well taken shot, but in need of some improvements. Still I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a beautiful bird. You were able to get a good side view of his head. The problem I have is in the larger picture the bird isn't in good focus. Always look at your photo at 100% size to see what you have on your focus. Some of the pictures I have taken and looked at on the camera look great. Even uploading them they look pretty good. You really see what you have when you amp it up to 100%. You can try to sharpen it with a filter. Be careful when you do that, though. It can be overdone.
