You make it sound so simple. (I've always had a crush on TS.) You really captured his ruggedness, yet put a bit of sparkle in his eyes.

He would have stories to tell... especially from his private investigator days! ;-)

I love the smooth texture of his hat and the folds of her kerchief. Lovely rendition.

Hey Snow, Isn't Mr. Selleck a Man. Wow. Fun to draw. Thank you for your fantastic review.

Thank you Joel. This was a challenge, but so rewarding, As Mr. Selleck is a hunk.

I think I recognize the style. Tom Salk, the perfect cowboy in nostalgic fashion with skilfully used pencils and blending stump. The technique and the style are a give away. I think this drawing is a perfect likeness into the smallest detail. I know who's portrait this is in the moment I saw it. You might have drawn a winner. Best luck for the contest.

initial impact is very good. the actor is recognize right away. he fit well as a cowboy. i like the dark background. it creates a nice dimension. the actor is well proportioned, the colors blend well. i have to say the eyes have it here. his facial features are excellent especially the eyes. i think you'll do quite well in the contest.

Wonderful visual impact with the great use of monochrome and lighting on the subject. The close cropping adds to the intensity of the portrait particularly the eyes. I do think the wrist is a tiny bit too narrow, but overall this is very well done! Good luck in the contest!

I think I know who created this master.... I think it is just tremendous and I'd be bias if asked to judge. But the work speaks for itself..BRAVO!

What a great drawing of Tom Selleck, such a ruggedly handsome man. I always remember him as the Marboro cigarette man years ago. Although he is a very talented actor and I have seen him in many shows since. You have captured his facial expression with his piercing eyes and dimples beautifully. This almost looks like a sepia toned photograph of him. Great attention to detail. Wonderful work. ~Alveria
