I do love the detail to this piece. The lines are very strong as a cowboy should be in the wild west. Tom Selleck is a great actor and his portrait is perfect for a old west story that lets him be a hero and outlaw at the same time. The shading has great depth to it and the old time look from the sepia makes it even more old and worn, the way of life for a cowboy in the west.

The interplay of lights & shades is exceptional.
The folds & creases are so realistic that it looks more like a photograph.
The sepia rendition creates a retro effect & enhanced the image of Tom Selleck here as a cowboy.
Finest attention to details including the buttons & its anchoring thread.
This would have been an runaway winner for a Portrait Art Contest!
