Wow! Her bedroom seems to be a very special place for her. I too, love the antique quality of the laces. It provide a nice texture for the photograph. Nice POV, detail, colors, and framing of the bed. Thanks for sharing.

Pleasant initial impact
Center of interest is obvious
Fits the category for white
Creative and imaginative presentation and idea
detail and clarity ok
Maybe a bit too much in the photo. Just the bed might make a more pronounced "white" statement
All in all a very good photo

Such a story told in this take. The focus and framing are successful in creating that story. It must have been difficult not to crop in on the beautiful laces. But I like that you let us see the whole story. Very stirring. Good luck in the contest.

Lucky old lady to be living here instead of a nursing home where most old people end up in the "western developed" world!

Yes, the focal point is the white lace and the image is well composed and cropped to help bring our eye to the bed. The whole shot is focused and sharp with plenty of secondary focal points to tantalize the viewer.

The crop is a tad tight up top and to see the whole diaphanous screen would have been the better shot but sometimes it is difficult to get everything in. Still this is a great entry for the white contest.

I also quite like the softness of ambient light as shown here for you have no harsh shadows, the diffusion is very nice and accentuates the photograph.

The viewer cannot help but get absorbed by this photo and the details so precisely shown.

Always something in photography to overcome.

As my wife does a lot of hand made lace I had to ask her opinion on this and she was impressed with hand knitted lace bedspread as well as some of the smaller pieces we could see. It is nice that the image is in good clear focus and detail so that all this wonderful work is seen.
Thank you for taking it and sharing.

What a sweet photo. This does indeed look like very old linens in a very comfy room for an elderly lady. Very nice lighting and depth of field and focus.

I have always wanted a canopy bed. This one is beautiful. I'm allergic to dust, so I couldn't have one. The bedroom does look like a picture out of the past. Good point of view. The bed is the focal point of the room. I like that you got a part of the (rocking chair?) in the photo.
