Now that is living in style. The lighting is just touch strong reflecting off the white hull. However, I have shot in the islands and I understand strong sunlight. The swirling blue water give movement to the scene that may need so Dramamine. The classic hillside homes dot all of the islands in the Caribbean. I love St Thomas.

Wow! A beautiful ship and a beautiful place to photograph it. Indeed that is a huge sailboat. Looks almost as big as those huge cruise ships. Kind of fascinating that such large sailboats are manufactured. Lovely photo!

In this modern era of super yachts, I have to say that it is highly uncommon to witness a 4 mast sailboat, of gigantic proportions, combining the romanticism and lavish style of ages past, with the amenities of the present. I can only imagine the endless flapping sound of its sails, whilst cruising the ocean. Love the deep blue color of the ocean and the lush greenery of the hill on the background, splattered with hues of white and orange from the brick rooftops, framing this amazing white vessel. Thank you for sharing this!
Regards

One thing is missing in this photo...ME :)
It is frigid here.
Lucky you...I gather you are on a cruise. What a lovely view!
Subject is well defined.
Background is colorful and adds interest
Great DOF.
Detail and clarity crisp.
Enjoy the warmth.

nice capture of the boat with the island in the background

still, the blue foreground is too big, almost half of the frame, and the boat white colors is too bright

thanks for sharing

initial impact is good. the blue water looks very inviting. to look at the building on the land look overcrowded. it's a nice looking boat docked there. nice work.

    overcrowded for a town ?

Nice shot with good color contrast with the deep blue and white sailboat. Also the background adds to the picture. The landscape dotted with tiny houses suggest a calm feeling and one of simplicity. Positioning of the sailboat is good and I love the rippling effect going on in the water.
