This is an impressing sailing boat. It is actually so big I would almost have called it a ship. Of course all the small houses as a background is a bit distracting, but it is the placement of the boat within the frame that takes away from a good composition. The photo is cropped too tight at the top and also on the right side, while too much of the see is shown in the foreground.

The photo is however nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details, and I also think the exposure is quite good. Perhaps the boat being just a bit too bright.

It is a well taken photo but the composition needs to be adjusted. Still I wish you luck with the contest.

Ohhh, Nice! Looks like a post card! Are you peddling vacations? I love the colors in this photo. The deep, rich blueness of the ocean with the colorful abodes on the hill behind the great white sail boat splitting the two! A perfect picture....makes me want to be there! Lots to hold the interest in this photo, including the sailboat dwarfing the houses in the background. The dark background and blue foreground help to emphasise the vessel. All the best in the competition.
