First and foremost, I want to recognize and appreciate the panoramic presentation; very cool!

I like the frame and presentation. You have used the 2-3rd's rule of placement and it has offered a strong compositional effect. The color of the board (orange / red) offers yet additional interest with increased attention to focal point.
A well maneuvered shot - well done. Kathy

Fred this is not one of your typical excellent shots. There is definitely too much dead space on the right and the focus is not very sharp. Thanks for sharing this moment in time.

This is certainly a unique photo. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all fantastic. I like the different shades of grey all the way from the sky, horizon line, and the waves. You did a wonderful job :) Thanks for sharing :)

initial impact is good. the pretty blue ocean adds character and dimension. the surfer board is a nice vibrant color that draws the eye in.the guy seems to be doing quite well, while the guy next to him is feet up. lol.

Fred,
A great stop action picture of the surfer balancing on his board while carefully avoiding the other person in the water that looks as if he/she had fallen into the water of was just swimming off shore. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
