Excellent shot of the beautiful bird and great quality of the image. Great color and contrast, nice illumination, texture, and sharp focus, like good composition, good DOF and frame. Great job

    Nancy,
Thanks a million for your complementary review. Snow seldom lasts in Dublin except in the Mountains. This year we had about two/three inches that came down in the evening BUT was gone by morning Deo Gratis. We are NOT geared for snow at all. One to two inches & the country drives to a halt.

    Sandy,
Thanks a million for your complementary review. He & his mate are coming into the garden together. One up high on this branch for a few seconds & then to the Meal worm feeder. The other one stays mainly on the ground leaping up to the Meal Worm Feeder once it's free.

Beautiful little Robin with its big bright eye and colorful plumage Susan. They are so cute compared to our American Robin. Little guy is probably singing to its mate off in another bush. Like the background of blurred limbs that almost has a painterly look to it. Good photo and fun to see these little guys. Our robins are starting to return to the valley which is always a sure sign of spring here.

What a beautiful little Robin, love that cute pose, focused and framed. Good to see you getting some sun. We are supposed to have a rain storm arrive here this week-end, need the rain so bad and much cooler weather.

Great capture of the little robin singing away in the snow! Great to capture the glint in his eye and the "chin-up" pose! And good focusing to get him to stand out from all the twigs in the background, showing the detail of his delicate colours and feathers. Thank you for sharing.

I have said it before, but don't mind to repeat it. The Robin is indeed one of the cutest little bird there is. Really like the pose of this one and how well you have pictured it. The background is perhaps a tad busy, but since it is nicely blurred the little bird is standing out from it in a really good way. What I like the best about this photo is how well you have captured the bright and shiny eye.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in the bird, and also the exposure is very good. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.

I also think the photo is nicely cropped and the bird has got a good placement within the frame. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. I think this is a really lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

Cute title. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the bird on the branch is great..the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall
