Beautifully done. The square framing works well in this composition - the leaves on three sides nicely played. There is nice focus and detail. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot of this little blackbird sitting in the rain. I can see the drops against it's black body as it sits there waiting for the rain to stop. Had a lot of rain here yesterday and it brought out the goldfinches to my sock feeders. They didn't seem to mind all the wet and were in a feeding frenzy. Nice photo and a little different from a typical summer day in Yakima where its very dry in summer.

Thanks a million for your great review. Here there is not alot of difference between some Winter & Summer days, though it is usually a little warmer on the whole & the days are MUCH longer in June it's light at 4am & not dark till 10.40pm...In December it's light at about 8.30am & dark at 4pm. Today was wild wet & windy, yesterday very mild & sunny.

We may complain about the rain, however, that is what makes everything so green. A good view, kind of a silhouette on the bird, focused and framed. Looks like a rainy day sky for sure.

I may grumble about the rain but I prefer it to snow & ice anyday. When you consider we are as far north as Juneau in Alaska, our climate is absolutely "Tropical"

Yes there are days with out rain but sometimes it seems that it's always raining. On average in Ireland it rains one day in four, while in Switzerland it rain one in three.
