Nice crimson red ginger blooms pop out against the dark backdrop.
A great initial impact. Nice interesting subject. Excellent POV & DOF...Harmonious colors. Impressive lighting, focusing & framing.

Rich color and wonderful DOF. The bloom, bursting out of the scene, gives a feeling of rich fragrant smells. The dark background gives assistance to highlighting of the blooms.

initial impact is good. you certainly have the red part covered, lol. it's very vibrant and adds a great deal of dimension to your image. i like the look of the dark background with the leaves. it's centered nicely and the focus is sharp. good job.

Bold initial impact, nicely framed with bold color. The background provides a nice contrast with your red image. Focus is very soft in my view from the upload however. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing.

Very rare find then :) the colour of the flowers is gorgeous and shows up well against the dark background. Love how some petals are in focus and some aren't. The crop is good and overall, pleasant to see.

I think that is a bit overexposed and its focus is soft, but I like the intensity of the color and dark background, like the composition and depth. Good luck
