initial impact is good. the color of the background blends well with the leaves. the reflection or better said as the shadow of the leaves creates a nice dimension. the leaves are well centered; the focus is very good; and your creativity is intact. nice job.

Very beautiful, as always. I like the background and the way the shadows stand out so well. Some of the shadows seem to have color to them. You can take an ordinary object and make it looks extraordinary. I could use all of my sixes just on your work.

Excellent rendition to the colors of the Maple. Well presented and placed on a beautiful canvas. Perhaps a bit softer in the shadow would make it better, just my suggestion. Thanks for sharing Annie.

Inviting warm colors in this piece. I like the way the lighting and shadows create a burst of light effect. Presentation and frame are nicely thought out. The contrast as well as the compositional element of the shadow is very powerful and captures ones gaze. Nice Annie. Kathy

Dry autumn leaves are always beautiful and seem to help us with their colors over the winter. I like the reversed shadow cast a lot. It is intriguing that the shadow does not match the leaves, but that this is not realised except one looks really closely. Realized or not, the background looks as interesting as the leaves, without overtaking. Light and shadows emphasize the leaves perfectly.
