Beautiful sketch of a beautiful little girl. Looks like she just woke up. The shading is wonderful something I have problems with. This is wonderful. Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work!

You have done an excellent job of capturing the emotion and feel of cold in this child's face. I also like the texture work in the cloth, very impressive. Your background has just the right amount of shading to bring the focus to your portrait. I like the appearance of the snow on the body and cloth but do not care for it as much in the hair. Great work!

The detail, especially the shading within the child's hair, is absolutely stunning. To see an element of movement and emotion within a still image takes an artistically advanced skillset. There honest isn't anything I, personally, can say negatively about this piece. Even the pout on this child is drawn out with fine-lined detail. Amazing!!

Brilliant work - loved the story, it pulled my heart strings. You have also captured the emotions in the little girls face, I feel I ought to give her a cuddle.

I must say I am a little bias due to the fact this was my favourite story as a girl and also because I love the way you create such magical textures from such a simple medium as pencil.
Your work as always is stunning and the texture of the blanket is so perfect I can feel that strange mix of rough and soft of that wool just looking at it. The darkness surrounding her and the odd fleck of snow add to the lonely desperation she must have felt out in the cold all alone. You have also done a great job on her expression too, its like you can see the sad sense of hopelessness rising to the surface, if I passed this girl I would take her home like a stray puppy :) Thank you for sharing another amazing image, you give me something to aspire toward.

You never cease to amaze me, Linda. I am in awe of your work. This one speaks volumes in both story and interpretation. Even though her wardrobe blends with the background, its still defined and well represented. Thanks for sharing this!

OMG! The is the best piece I've seen since I signed up to FAR a few months ago. The emotion the piece brings to the audience is palpable. I initially thought this was a photograph because it's so detailed ans stunning. The expression on the young girls face shows such trauma and sorrow and the detail in the blanket shows the texture or lack there of. I have favorited this piece and can't tell you enough what a beautiful piece is it! It see nothing wrong and no need to change it.
Excellent Job!

your pencil work is out of this world-- startlingly real-- I rarely go above five but you really deserve it, it is skilled work and beautiful work and amazingly realistic work- just fantastic- that is all I can say.
