Thank you. You have captured such a beautiful idea of the Love of my life. I love the contemplative look in His eyes as He looks into the distance, and I imagine, I am on His mind and in His heart. Amazing work. Thank you so much for sharing.

Good pic. Good lines, colors and shading. Nothing says Easter or God. Thank you for sharing. I think you should have included some other figures. Thank you.

I know that I am not supposed to justify my work, and that I can't defend it. I just have a question. 2 stars is almost the lowest rating that an artist can get on this site. Could you please tell me why you chose to give me such a low rating. I don't think anyone in the history of fanart ever got two stars, or three, and hardly ever four.

TThis drawing is incredibly well done.
Everything is perfect, shadows, hair, eyes, hands, face cannot say anything more.

CONGRATULATIONS.

Such lovingkindness and gentleness in His face, and such a look of listening with His heart. A very touching portrait of sweet Jesus. Thinking how powerful and healing were those hands, and how humble and down to earth He really was. Son of God is ever so embracing, and you have certainly touched my heart. I feel like He is listening to me and my heartbeat. As always, excellence and such extraordinary talent, Linda. Always a special and quiet joy to view your work.

To God be the glory. He gives gifts. This ability to draw is an outlet that He has given me to share His love to others. I want everyone to know how awesome Jesus Christ is, and to share His love. Thank you for this wonderful review.

Finally, a picture of the Master that shows three things: (1) his humanity. The last supper would've made him 33 years old. The pensive look on his face makes us who know the Bible, he understands what's coming upon him in less than 24 hours; (2) his appearance. He looks like a real person, not some holy fellow with a halo, and his hands. In counseling I frequently ask people to imagine Jesus and then say, "What stands out to you the most?" Many say "his hands". Getting both face and hands like this is truly inspirational, and; (3) his appeal. He looks like someone you would want to know.
Nearly all portraits of Jesus fail the viewer because of the subjective nature of expectations. For me, a retired minister of fifty years, you came as close as any I've seen.

Clyde, your words are like the voice of my Heavenly Father. To draw for God has been my heart's desire since He started me down this road. After my daughter died, God gave me this art as an outlet for my grief. I just want to glorify Jesus.

I love this!! Your shading definition is amazing. I love the fact that, though you can't see a light source, you know exactly which direction it is coming from. The detail in the hands is spot on... and I adore the emotion detailed in Jesus' eyes. Absolutely wonderful!! :)

Here you go again. Another fabulous drawing. Did you draw this from a photo you saw or from your own imagination? Either way it is a great job. Happy Easter to you and your family.

Hi Barbara, You know me. I drew it from a photo. I don't think my mind is that articulate. Thank you so much for the wonderful critique, and especially for the 6 stars.

Thank you for this wonderful rating, and fantastic review. Yes, I always work off a picture. It takes so long doing it in pencil.
