What a beautiful photograph!

What is most striking about this is the windswept look to the work. Also of note: I really like the complementary colors of oranges and blues -- playing so well together in this shot!

Getting a unique airplane shot is difficult -- you've got one. Congrats.

I stumbled upon this work and from first glance I knew I wanted to review it. It is most beautiful... has a mystery and flow to it that could hold one´s attention for hours, if so disposed. The airy quality makes perfect sense as it´s an aerial view. I always thought these features looked the surface of the brain. Great shot! Timeless!

Thanks so much Oliver!! I was wondering what you would think. I just thought it was so serene I just couldn't stop looking at it. Don't know why. As always I am thrilled with your support and encouragement!! Paula

Paula, it has been such a pleasure seeing your work for the past year. You have done some of the most fascinating and riveting images posted on this site. I bet that you are one fine human being, too. All best wishes are sent your way.

An interesting image. The warm ochres make it pleasant to view and the fact that the subject is not immediately apparent lends significant interest while you're trying to decode it.
For me it's nature transformed into abstract and very appealing. Nicely done.

Excellent capture of high alluvial plane reaching up to high escarpments of the Rockies or the Sangradechristies Sp. Have seen this also and your image along with what also observed always takes breath away. Colors are fantastic in what appears to be chasing a setting sun's ambient light East to West. Thank You for sharing,

This is a really impressive shot of a barren landscape. It could be Mars. The thought of nothingness would bring us to investigate the terrain, just to see if there was life.

Terrific photograph. Very interesting first impression, as I thought it was taken of breaking waves in a long exposure. Great colors and framing. Thanks for sharing Paula.

You had a great vantage point from 30K feet, what a beautiful piece of landscape art. The color of the sand against the rocky mountain tops is such an excellent contrast. I love the textures and how different they are and the vastness of the sand. Beautiful composition and thank you for sharing.

Being ( among other things) a casual ( but hopefully 'well informed') student of Paleontology I'd say that 'timelessness' is a relative concept,Paula! ( Before this area was a desert it was part of the vast 'inland sea' that teemed with vigorous and ever-changing forms of life for millions of years! )
But,my ramblings aside,your photo looks GREAT! :D
A Grand Show,my friend!

I agree with you Sean T, but I am a sucker for a serene shot ! I think this is the east side of the Rockies and relatively dry, but I loved the orange color. Love paleontology too. Would have been a geologist if not in medicine. Very grateful for your support!! Paula
