Beautiful! I love the deep, rich colors and the contrast between the rocks and sand. Great point if view! The title fits perfectly and makes me pause for a moment think about "time".

really incredible image and deserving of a six. amazing capture from a plane and so clear from that height. the textures and rocks have come out so perfect and almost like an alien landscape of some far off moon.

yes, the desert is timeless, but this is it's beauty and this is why I love it

good angle of shot and depth of field, just pity the focus is so soft

thanks for sharing

I like this for the contest, really good. The sharpness reveals texture on an eretz of a rich sepia -- a kind of stark, martian landscape with amber shades of wind-blasted plains and weary, crinkled mountain sides. And look, a Nazca line. A class L planet if I ever saw one. A wall somewhere is looking for this photograph (large format).

I love people who teach me new words, especially one as useful as eretz!! And then another one! A Nazca line. Thanks for a great and hugs for the new words. Paula

An interesting initial impact. Harmonious colors. Nice perspective & narrow DOF. Excellent lighting, focusing & framing.
You should have chosen a more pronounced, solid, massive object my friend for more initial impact.
Good luck at the polling booth!
Who knows they will like this subtle interpretation

I like the colors and the abstract feeling this image projects. However, I feel that there is nothing specific to focus on. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful entry for the contest, best luck to you, it's a great piece that shows how time stand still in the desert life, I am sure things change over the years with sand storms but it's nice to actually see it in a photo.
