Short...Long....good Opposites indeed. Good perspective. Interesting photo. Great angel,,,straight down....the POV and DOF are equally as good. Composition and Presentation are also both equally as good. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the voting booth,

This sure looks like a movie shot! Great perspective and unexpected angle! I did a similar thing from the 9th floor of a hotel in midtown a few years back. Only I chose to shoot down the street at night. Can't do much when they won't let you open the window further than that standard 6 inches though! Great focus and you managed some nice color through the buses and cabs!

This is for sure a creative entry for this contest, and would have worked for other contests as well. Like unexpected angles. This is actually what I like the best with your photo, the unexpected angle and perspective. It almost looks like you must have waited for this "pattern" of cars to turn up. The only thing being a bit distracting is the yellow cab in the bottom right corner, and personally I would have cloned it out.
Your photo is however nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the format you have cropped this into, and also the way you included the facade at the top. Really a creative and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

So happy you enjoyed this. I love the unexpected, I like the diagonal lines and things that set the observer off kilter so it stimulates thought and feeling. Still love flowers though which are sort of the opposite, though who says I have to be consistent. Thanks for the clone tip.
