A very nice drawing which demonstrates great skill. This strikes me as something which looks better the further you are from the drawing - I mean that in a good way :)

Excellent drawing of this beautiful little girl, Linda. I like the way you show the difference between textures of the hair, skin and clothing. I love the expression on the little girl's face and you've captured her happy personality in this.
I don't know how you manage to get the darks to photograph so well - my pencil drawings always look washed out on the upload! Lovely light and shading shown. Really lovely portrait. Suzanne

Thank you so much Suzanne. It is so hard to take a good picture with my Ipad. I send it to my computer and download it. Then I am able to upload it into fan art.

The reason I say that so easily is not because the drawing itself is true to your talent, precision and detail but because you have captured the very soul of this child...this child to me is glowing with childhood innocence, glowing full of hope looking up. She is robust, well loved and we as viewers, can read so much story into your portrait.
I have no more stars than a paltry 5.....sorry.

a wonder work of art. it's amazing you can do that with a pencil. i like the lighter background. the highlights and shadows are very well done. all the emotion is in those eyes and that smile. i see nothing to pick apart here. very well done.
