Yes, I have fond memories of school back in the 1950's. I actually attended a one room school for the 2nd and 3rd grade, 8 rows of desks, one for each grade, a slate board on the walls, wood stove in the back and a long rope that I could not reach to ring the school bell. A fun and cute view, like it.

Thanks George your school sounds like it hadn't moved to far forward from the 1800s but the one thing I remember is we made our own fun and did not have to rely on play equipment our swing was rope from tree and seesaw plank across sawn down tree trunk. 😀

Good information and good shot. The only constructive criticism I can offer is to take out those leaves lower right hand corner and that black pole L lower aspect of image....but I know you do not have PS, so that is why I will let this go by as it is a strong photo.

I think having days like this is fantabulous, a real learning experience.
