Great impact, lovely drawing of Marilyn. It takes me back to the late 40's and 50's that remind me of her innocent beauty that you have so delicately captured in this great piece of art. Good lighting effect, use of texture, shape and form and contrast to highlight details and add character and beauty to this piece. Bravo

A very appealing initial impression - I love the hat and the way you used your space - almost a surreal shining light you was able to create in this work - great balance between the lower dark part and the clear one letting the light rise up and out of the frame - a super creative approach for this portrait - technically excellent , thanks for sharing

Beautiful drawing of Marilyn that includes The Hat and so much more. Drawing of light and shadow is marvelous and wonderful detail that emits from your wonderful talent that you have achieved. Takes one's breath away and just want to look at her all day as she was so beautiful. Love the Corsage or ruffle work with leaf's that flows from hat over her shoulder. Thank You for sharing.

Excellent in so many ways, you have displayed Marilyn who could be elegant, sophisticated, brilliant, and beautiful without the sexual overtones.

Your use of lighting, shadows and lines bring out depth of field in the hat. The detail of her lips and hair are magnificent.

You bring back the emotion of loosing such an amazing woman that the world did not appreciate. You have given her the dignity she most assuredly deserved.

Amazing work! Once again your ability to render the essence of the person as opposed to the "public" image is spectacular. The framing of her face is nothing short of inspired, as the range of tones and textures draw the eye to focus on the soft features and exquisite rendering of the subject. An very beautiful work. Thanks
