Beautiful initial impact, lovely vibrant color full of light. The burst of light and color in the background compliments the image perfectly. Nice lines of color and light with the stems or leaves. Thanks for sharing.

I have so missed you work Annie... This is absolutely beautiful. Funnily enough I am working on something like this as a pastel painting...
The composition is perfectly balanced. The colours are incredible and the detail superb. As always I love your backgrounds. Simply excellent!

Beautiful Annie! What a gorgeous photo of spring flowers. Just excellent as all your work is. Came back from a long road trip and found a lot of our tulips blooming but we missed the best of them. Your work is just outstanding and this is just one example of the perfection you put into your photos.

Well another hyper 6 star creation, so radiant and beautiful the way you have brought them together in your frame
A very lovely presentation, showing once again all your talent to create a different level of flower pictures
for me there have to be two review in one presentation each time as there is the original shot clear in focus, super sharp and second your modification creating mixed media - the shades you have chosen are beautiful let these three blooms stand out in perfection, they create a happy energy - excellent DOF , super contrast and lighting, perfect exposure
your picture is well framed and radiates harmony and beauty, thanks for sharing

Thinking about your edits, the zoom effect is a very clever and useful idea. For one thing, it automatically creates a de-cluttered "background". For another, it creates a textural contrast that favors the detailed subject against the induced blur of the zoom. Finally the vignette brightens the subject even more by subtle contrast. The subject itself remains, full of interest in the delicate veins in the petals in beautiful hues of purple and the pop of orange in the stamens. Very beautiful.

That 'effect' that you mentioned works remarkably well with this image but I think it's the superbly attractive coloration that really makes this one stand out!!
