Another outstandingly beautiful work! Again your treatment of light and shadow are impeccable and take the work to the next level of excellence. This combined with your choice of source material that makes these larger than life personalities portrayed as human, is beyond remarkable. Outstanding!!1 Thanks

I can only say that a review like yours makes being an artist worthwhile. How can I thank you for this kind of support? Thank you a million times over, dear friend.

I like the pose -- I can see why you would be attracted to it... not a sexy one per se... but it is... probably due to her beauty.

Your fabric drawing is surpassed only by the expert drawing of her signature tousled hairstyle.

(Personal preference: I think the lights maybe bait light on this one... details are almost lost... but that's just my observation.)

A striking choice for your pencil because we see an iconic figure captured in a moment where the glamour has slipped ever so slightly, giving us a glimpse of perhaps the reality behind an idealized life. Replicating elements which are almost hidden, like the subtle clench of the left hand and wrist, the right elbow tucked close, the upper torso leaning forward -- a kind of half fetal position -- points to a body language that was perhaps unintentionally transmitted, lasting only a moment perhaps. It's requires no small talent to faithfully render each feature accurately to sum-up to such a strong impression.

Your review is more that stellar, it is fantastic. You have managed to see beyond what most viewers see. You have seen the spirit of the picture, which is what all artists hope will be seen. Thank you so very much for your support, which is appreciated more than I can say.

I remember this photo. I think she had a cigarette holder in her hand. The fingernail between her teeth is excellent although I think the jaw might be jutting out just a taste too much. No doubt the recollection of a much younger man are a bit fuzzy now. You have captured the essence of Marilyn much better than my memory has.

What I saw on initial impact was beautiful light and line. Your work with light, shadow and line is fantastic. The details are fantastic from the eyebrow lines to the fact that her waist is in shadow. Great capture of this stunning legend's face. This story is a grand tribute and you should be proud. Thanks for sharing.
